The Brownville-Glen Park Library is excited to announce our reopening on Tuesday, July 14th!
- Tuesday 10:00am-5:00pm
- Wednesday 11:00am-7:00pm
- Friday 10:00am-5:00pm
**Reopening guidelines provided by the state will be in place. Patrons will be asked to socially distance and wear a mask while in the library. Hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks are available at the entrance.
***If you still have library materials that were taken out prior to our COVID-19 shutdown, please return them as soon as possible. You can either bring them directly into the library during business hours or place them in the dropbox out front.
Curbside pick-up will still be available!
***Ordering books for curbside pickup. If you would like to put your book request in please follow the steps below.
In order to be sure we can process your request when reviewing the online catalog (ncls.org) check to see if the item you are searching for is owned by our library.
Enter your interest in the “search for” box and click search. The results will show items owned by all libraries, and you will be able to see if Brownville carries it by scrolling to the end of the page. Please Note: Because we are not yet fully automated, the book may appear available; however, it may already be out.
Copy or write down the item title and author. Send your request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org (link sends e-mail) (be certain to include your full name and phone number with your request).
If you are not able to email, simply call 315-788-7889 during business hours and let me know what you are requesting.
Books may be picked up at your convenience during business hours. You can stay in your car, and books will be delivered to you.
***IMPORTANT*** Returned items will be quarantined for 72 hours. The books will be marked with the date of return, and they will sit for 72 hours. At the end of 72 hours, the items will be discharged from quarantine and available for checkout.
As always, your patience and understanding is appreciated!
